Benefit Connection, Inc. was founded by Jim Castle in 2004 as a general agency serving brokers throughout the southeast in both employer paid and voluntary benefits. In 2008, Benefit Connection was sold to Louie and William Cason. Louie is President and Founder of The Cason Group, a general agency based in Columbia, SC with additional offices in Greenville, SC, Charleston, SC and Charlotte, NC. Louie L. Cason Jr., CLU, RHU
President

Louie manages Benefit Connection, Inc. as well as The Cason Group and sets direction with new products and carriers. Louie has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, including ten years with The Guardian. He is an Atlanta native and graduate of the University of Georgia. Louie is actively involved with several insurance industry organizations.

Director, Sales and Marketing

William oversees the Sales Divisions of both Benefit Connection and The Cason Group. He is a University of South Carolina graduate and has experience as both a group and individual life sales representative.

Jonathan Hudgens, RHU, REBC
Sales Manager, SC & GA

Jonathan manages the Sales Representatives of Benefit Connection and The Cason Group in Georgia and South Carolina. Jonathan is a University of South Carolina graduate and has over eight years of experience in the insurance field as both a Sales Rep and a Manager.

DJ Jensen, Sales Representative

DJ joined Benefit Connection, Inc in 2007 as a Sales Representative. DJ works with agents to obtain quotes, negotiates with carriers and assists agents in selling and enrolling new groups. DJ attended the University of Nebraska and has over 10 years of experience in the insurance industry.
